The BDK Scholars program is designed to provide financial assistance and support focused on education, philanthropic service and accountability to high school students that meet the criteria listed below.

 

This program is a multi-year commitment to each student based on their current grade and remaining years in high school.  Our goal is to ensure that each student has the necessary tools and resources to be successful in high school and beyond.

 

Students must meet the following criteria to remain in The BDK Scholars Program:

1- Must maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA

2- Participate in 2 activities per school year such as sports, clubs or band.

3- Provide access to grades

4- Provide access to disciplinary records

5- Participate in four BDK sponsored community service events

The deadline to submit The BDK Scholars Program application for the 2023-2024 school year is March 10, 2023.  Applications received after March 10, 2023, will be considered on a funds availability basis.  Our staff and BDK Board of Directors will carefully consider each application.  You will be contacted with your application status by March 31, 2023.  If awarded, the scholarship will be applied directly to the student's tuition upon receiving evidence of registration at the respective high school.

Scholarships can range in value based on a multitude of factors, but each student accepted into The BDK Scholars Program will receive at least $1,000 towards tuition.
